Automotive Car Sales Associate Responsibilities:

· Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.

· Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

· Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.

· Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.

· Build a strong rapport with customers.

· Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.

· Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Automotive Sales Consultant Qualifications:

· Car sales experience is preferred.

· Automotive dealership

· Customer service experience

· Valid driver's license

· Positive attitude and demeanor

· Strong listening and verbal communication skills

· Strong focus and desire to achieve sales goals.

Full Time Service Advisor

Service Advisor

We are a family owned and operated Ford Dealership in search of a Service Advisor for our community with 100+ employees. Join our Team and become part of the Marcotte Ford Family!

We are looking for an entry level or experienced Automotive Service Advisor to add to our team. The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling the repair work for the shop, writing the work orders for the shop, preparing estimates for repair work, explaining the maintenance requirements to the customer and working with factory warranty and extended warranties. Experience a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking vehicle maintenance records

Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and cause discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system

Proactively and consistently communicates with customers regarding status of their vehicle using preferred communication method (test, email, phone)

Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records

Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment

Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturer's publications

Upholds organizations reputation and standards as outlined in employee handbook
